Credits and removal requests

Where the images come from
Wallfinch does not host any images. It searches websites that publish wallpapers, shows the results, and links each image to the page where it was published, with the author's name when the website provides it.
Sources include wallpaper communities and websites such as Wallhaven, Reddit and Alpha Coders, and space agencies such as NASA, ESA/Webb and ESA/Hubble. The exact list depends on the version of the app and can change over time.
All images remain the property of their authors and rights holders.
Removal requests
If you are the author or rights holder of an image and you don't want it to appear in Wallfinch, write to support@wallfinch.com with:
- a link to the image, or to the page where it is published;
- your name and your relationship to the work (author, rights holder or authorised representative);
- how to contact you.
I will hide the image for all users, usually within 5 working days, without waiting for an app update. Wallfinch only shows what is publicly available on the source website, so asking that website to remove the image is the way to take it down everywhere.
For website owners
If you run one of the websites Wallfinch searches and you would rather it didn't, or it causes you any problem, write to me: I can turn a source off for all users remotely.
Wallfinch itself
The app, its name and its icon are by Matteo Cioffi. Wallfinch uses open-source software; the licences are listed in the app.
